The renovation of this 107 year old heritage home blends historic and contemporary elements seamlessly inside and out. Many of the original materials and finishes were maintained throughout the house that are echoed throughout the historic neighbourhood.

“In 2017 we embarked on a major whole house renovation of our 107 year old home. We were nervous about the renovation as it was sizable and you never know what lay under all the drywall. We talked to at least 6 Contractors and Ranlak Management provided a competitive and realistic quote and we had the best feeling about them. We were not disappointed! Randy and his team were fantastic and the work done on our old house was of the highest quality with finishing touches that really made the house extraordinary. Our project manager, Mike, was excellent and always had solutions to any issues that came up during the Reno and managed the trades and all the City inspections and permits seamlessly. Randy and Mike went beyond just doing the basic work to make the house look and feel exceptional. The trades were also impressive and we felt in good hands with their level of expertise, knowledge, and professionalism. Everyone treated our home as if it was their own. The project was on time and on budget (within plus or minus 10%). This was largely due to Randy’s detailed budget control and accounting process. We received invoices throughout the project itemizing all the work and materials being billed with back up for every item. The master budget control report was also updated each time so we always know where we were with the budget. We had heard many scary renovation stories and were nervous going into this major renovation but it was a great experience and made so easy for us by Randy and his team. And our house looks amazing!
